Mrs. Leoma J. Kruzic, 84, of Silver Spring, Md., died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at Holy Cross Hospital.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Monday at St. Camillus Catholic Church, Silver Spring, Md. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Mrs. Kruzic was born in Hopewell, Va., on Feb. 9, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Elmer and Una Jones. She graduated from Washington High School in 1938 as class valedictorian. In 1943, she married Thomas P. Kruzic, who preceded her in death. She received a bachelor’s degree with a business major in 1979 from the University of Maryland, where she graduated summa cum laude. After 23 years of service, she retired from the department of agriculture in Beltsville, Md.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Kruzic of Clarksburg, Md., and Timothy Kruzic of Columbia, Md.; two daughters, Therese Seully of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Antoniette Ager of Olney, Md.; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Silver Spring, Md.
