Mrs. Gloria Dean Artis-Jennette, 58, of 3777 Possum Hill Road, Bath, died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Word of Life Worship Center with the Elder Gary Best officiating. Burial will follow at the St. Stephen Church cemetery in Bath.
Mrs. Artis-Jennette was born in Beaufort County on April 11, 1948. She was the daughter of the late Margie Satterthwaite Satchell and Willie Robert Satchell. She attended Beaufort County public schools. She was an employee of Flanders Filters Co. On Dec. 18, 2006, she was married to William Mack Jennette, who survives. She was a member of St. Stephen Community Church in the Bayview community of Bath and served there as a trustee.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Artis Satchell of Washington; two sons, Milton Raeford Satchell of Charlotte and Eugene Artis Jr. of Washington; three sisters, Louette Slade of Bath and Doris Satchell and Barbara Lodge, both of Washington; three brothers, John Henry Satchell of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Emron Satchell and James N. Satchell, both of Washington; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Arrangements are by Randolph Funeral Home, 219 N. Bonner St., Washington.
