Delores J. Woolard

Mrs. Delores Ann Jackson Woolard, 55, of 559 Woolard Road, Chocowinity, died Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007, at her home.
A funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Haw Branch Church of Christ in Chocowinity with D.J. Maxey and Kent Gurganus officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The following will serve as active pallbearers: Corey Joe Woolard, Robert Louis Jackson Jr., Shawn Harding, Troy Woolard, Jimmy Stokes and Willie Crisp. Honorary pallbearers will be Rod Gurganus, Don Hill and Phillip Grissom.
Mrs. Woolard was born in Beaufort County on April 16, 1951. She was the daughter of Dola Warren Jackson and the late Robert Louis Jackson. She was a graduate of Washington High School. She was a homemaker. On Dec. 18, 1970, she was married to Carlos Keith Woolard, who survives. She was a member of Haw Branch Church of Christ and served there as Sunday school treasurer.
Survivors include one daughter, Dawn W. Stokes of Chocowinity; one son, Ashley Woolard of Washington; three brothers, Robert Jackson Jr., Bobby Jackson and Steve Jackson; one sister, Deborah Vick; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at the home.
