Mrs. Margaret Mulholland Roebuck, 87, of 200 Hatton St., Apt. 19, Williamston, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Biggs Funeral Home with Dolan Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Roebuck was born in Moore County on Oct. 18, 1919. She was the daughter of the late John and Lenora Hewitt. She was married to James Franklin Roebuck, who preceded her in death in 1986. She worked as a bookkeeper with Lancaster Stockyard until her retirement. She was a member of Tillery Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Faye Phelps of Williamston, Jackie Powell of Hampton, Va., and Selma Rubens of Monterey, Calif.; one son, Jimmy Roebuck of Hickory; 10 grandchildren; one step grandchild; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home and other times at 1308 Meadow Branch Road, Williamston.
