Dr. Stephen Jasper Harding Jr., of Clayton, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007, following a long battle with cancer.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington.
Dr. Harding was born in Washington on Sept. 8, 1930. He was the son of the late Jasper and Elizabeth Harding. He was a graduate of Washington High School. He served in the Navy during the Korean War after attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He graduated from Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, Mo. in 1958. He was in private practice in Clayton for 43 years.
Survivors include one sister, Bettie Mac Wilson.
Memorials may be made to the National Center Society or the charity of one’s choice.
