Mr. Donald Clark Combs, 55, of 3583 Old U.S. Highway 64, Columbia, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Alligator Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Roy McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in the Community Cemetery, Columbia.
Mr. Combs was born in Tyrrell County on Jan. 30, 1952. He was the son of Nellie Combs. He was married to Lendora McCleese Combs, who survives.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Combs of Columbia; five brothers, Matthew Combs, Wilford W. Combs, and James L. Combs, all of Columbia, Cherry R. Combs of Raleigh, and Michael A. Combs of Creswell; five sisters, Lola L. Combs of Creswell, and Glendora Combs, Grace V. Combs, Linda Combs Liverman and Mary E. Liverman, all of Columbia; and two grandchildren.
