Former resident of Pinetown, NC born Jan. 5, 1952 lost his battle with cancer, at his residence in Clearwater, FL. on Jan. 21, 2007. Terry leaves behind his companion of 12 years, Donna Barnes and her son Zac Barnes, 5 children, Jennifer Shaw, Terry Modlin Jr., Chris Modlin, Patrick Modlin, and Barbara Jene Modlin, 4 grandchildren, Blake, Geordan, Tyler, and Sean. His mother Rachel M. Foster, sisters, Barbara M. Midyette, Rita M. Clary, Lucille M. Houston, all of Pinetown, NC and Rachel Lou Varner of Richmond, VA. Brothers, Howard Modlin Jr. of Pinetown, NC, Steve Modlin of Pinellas Park, FL., Horace (Chug) Modlin of Alma, AR., and Roland Modlin of Washington, NC, and Caregiver Janette Modlin of Pinellas Park, FL., 12 nieces, 10 nephews, several great nieces and nephews, and Numerous Friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his father Howard Modlin, 2 brothers, Ellis Modlin and Dale (Pearly) Modlin, all of Pinetown, NC.
A Memorial Service will be held Feb. 4th at Five Points Baptist Church in Pinetown, NC. at 2 p.m. All friends are invited to attend the service.
