Evelyn Brown Anderson, 93, died Friday.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at Calvary Episcopal Church with Rev. Bill Smyth officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
Mrs. Anderson was born in Beaufort County to Harry Patrick and Annie Credle Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Berry Lane Anderson. She was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church in Tarboro for 65 years.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Berry L. Jr and Frances Anderson, Thomas Benjamin and wife, Lawson Anderson, of Leggett and George Brown Anderson, of Tarboro; sister in law Flora H. Brown of Washington; grandchildren, Richard Cutchin Anderson of Tarboro, Lawson Anderson Travers of Chapel Hill, Lane Anderson Taylor of Charlotte and Patrick Micajah Anderson of Atlanta; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may join the family at the home of Tommy and Lawson Anderson, 523 N.C. Highway 97 East, Leggett, Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m.
