Miss Doris Jean Rogers, 75, of 3966 Wild Cat Road, Williamston, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at Martin General Hospital, Williamston.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in Skewarkee Cemetery with Josh Davenport officiating.
Miss Rogers was born in Martin County on July 8, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Minga E. and Annie Mae Cowin Rogers. She worked as a secretary with the Department of Agriculture until her retirement. She was a member of Vernon Methodist Church.
Survivors include one sister, Betty Boney of Williamston, and one brother, Henry Rogers of Bear Grass.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at the home of her brother, 1088 Cherry Lane, Bear Grass.
