Mrs. Mary Emma Jane Ransome, 90, of 2509 Keating St., Temple Hills, Md. died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007 at PG Community Hospital in Cheverly, Md.
Mrs. Ransome was born on Nov. 22, 1916 in Washington County. She was the daughter of the late William Thomas Howell and Elouise Ebron Howell. She was a member of Solomon Temple Baptist Church, Bronx. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edison Ransome.
Survivors include a son, David Ransome of Manassas, Va.; three daughters, Sandra Grant of Waldorf, Md., Dian Kelly of Orlando, Fla. and Desiree Parker of Temple Hills, Md.; two sisters, Vernice Hudson of New York, N.Y and Pearlie Howell of Bronx and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at noon on Sunday at Toodle’s Funeral home with burial to follow in the Ransome family cemetery.
