Joseph A. Todd, 62, of Washington, died Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Beaufort County Hospital.
Mr. Todd was born October 15, 1944 in Nashua, NH and was the son of the late Arthur H. and Beatrice (Avery) Todd. He was raised and educated in the Merrimack-Nashua, NH area, and lived there prior to moving to North Carolina 20 years ago.
He was currently employed by the Washington Daily News. Mr. Todd was previously employed by Malden Mills of Methuen, MA. Davison Concrete of Merrimack, NH and Arthur Todd Contractors while living in New Hampshire.
Mr. Todd enjoyed traveling, and reading. He will long be remembered for his great love of animals, talking politics, and most importantly, his love for his family and friends.
Members of the family include 2 brothers, Clayton Todd of Amherst, NH, and Sidney P. Todd of Clinton, UT, 1 sister, Nancy R. Green of Hooksett, NH, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Paul Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the George R. Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. Spring interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery of Wilton, NH.
