Mrs. Doris Patricia Brooks Clark, age 52, a resident of 704 Hudnell Street, Washington, NC died Monday, February 19, 2007.
A graveside funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Oakdale Cemetery officiated by Rev. Robert J. Paciocco. Pallbearers will be Braxton Brooks, Jr., Terry Brooks, Jimmy Burbage, Jr., David Burbage, Sr., David Burbage, Jr. and A.J. Garris.
Mrs. Patricia was born in Beaufort County on June 9, 1954, daughter of the late Braxton Earl Brooks, Sr. and Doris Burbage Brooks. She was a graduate of Washington High School Class of 1972 and continued her education at the former Beaufort County Technical Institute. Mrs. Patricia was a member of the Red Hat Society “Beaufort County Chapter” and a member of the First Baptist Church of Washington.
Survivors include a daughter: Mindy Woolard and her husband Joey of Washington; a son: Stephen Lee Burrow, Jr. of Washington; her mother: Doris Burbage Brooks Karnowski of Washington; two brothers: Braxton E. Brooks, Jr. of Morehead City and Terry W. Brooks of Morehead City; a sister: Brenda B. Ingram of Millbrook, AL and a grandson: Dylan Woolard of Washington.
