Mr. William Nelson Holloman Sr., age 54, a former resident of Belhaven Square Apartments, died Monday, February 19, 2007, at Cross Creek Health Care Center.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007, at Paul Funeral Home of Belhaven officiated by Jon Langley. Burial will follow at Yeatesville Cemetery. Jerry Sawyer, Paul Bartel, Johnny Joyner, Bud Adams, Mathew Adams, Kenny Manning and Eugene Sides will serve as pallbearers.
Mr. Holloman was born in Richmond, Virginia on April 6, 1952 to the late Herman Lee Holloman and Hazel Barden Holloman. He attended Chester County schools in Virginia. Mr. Hollman worked servicing trees for several years. On March 6, 1971, Mr. Holloman was married to Alma Ruth Joyner, who preceded him in death. Survivors include two daughters: Tammy Holloman Godley and fianc/ Eugene Sides of Pinetown, Tina Louise Holloman and fianc/ Kenneth Manning of Bath; one son: William Nelson Holloman Jr. and wife Tammy of Pinetown; two sisters: Sharon Hagstrom and husband Dick of Chesterfield, Diane Garthwait of Chesterfield; one brother: Wayne Holloman of Chesterfield; and six grandchildren: Tonya Godley, Terry Jo Holloman, Daughton Godfrey, Taylor Manning, Megan Holloman and Tamra Manning.
