Mr. Joseph Lester “Joey” Hilton Jr., 43, of 229 Shad Bend Drive, Washington, died Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2007, at Beaufort County Hospital.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in Oakdale Cemetery, Washington, with Elbert Lilley officiating.
Mr. Hilton was born in Beaufort County on Feb. 14, 1964. He was the son of Dorothy W. Buck and the late Joseph Lester Hilton Sr. He was a 1982 graduate of the former Chocowinity High School. He had worked as a painter.
Survivors include one sister, Tracy Buck of Washington.
The family will receive friends at the home of his mother, 229 Shad Bend Drive, Washington.
