Mrs. Lottie Mae Smith, 74, of 3615 Roy Beach Road, Oak City, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007, at Martin General Hospital, Williamston.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Mark Baptist Church, Oak City, with pastor Curtis Lee Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery, Oak City.
Mrs. Smith was married to Alex Smith, who survives.
Survivors include four sons, Alexander Smith Jr. of Washington, Jack Smith of Nashville, N.C., Arthur Smith of Middletown, Conn., and James Smith of Williamston; four daughters, Mamie Crawley of Baltimore, Md., Janette Forrest of Knightdale, Leah Smith of Tarboro, and Pamela Hardy of the home; two brothers, Kermit Knight of Middletown, Conn., and George Knight of Cromwell, Conn.; one sister, Delores Gross of Baltimore, Md.; 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Hemby-Willoughby Mortuary, Tarboro.
