Virginia Ann Bryant, 55, departed this life on Monday, February 26, 2007 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. She was born in Washington, N.C. on September 29, 1951 to the late Melvin and Margaret Midgette.
She came to New Jersey when she was 19 years old. Soon after arriving she secured a position at New Jersey State Hospital at Greystone Park as a Residential Living Specialist. She held that position for 36 years.
In addition to her husband Johnny, left to cherish her memory are her two children Kareem of Morristown, NJ and Malikia Robertson and her husband Melvin of Wake Forest, NC; four sisters Florine Moore, Camellia Hyman, Mary Esther Midgette and Willemennia Midgette; three special sisters-in-law Margaret Forster, Octavia Chavis and Mary Bryant; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2007 at 10:15 a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 89 Spring St., Morristown, N.J.
Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Morristown, N.J.
Visitation will be on Friday, March 2, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. at Rowe-Lanterman Home for Funerals, 71 Washington St., Morristown, N.J.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, 150 Morris Ave., P.O. Box 1184, Springfield, NJ 07081.
