Mrs. Mildred Jones Frady, 66, of Windsor, died Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Martin General Hospital, Williamston.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, with pastor J.T. Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Edgewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Frady was born Aug. 31, 1940, the daughter of the late John Paul and Irrie Virginia Byrum Jones. She was a lifelong resident of Bertie County. She was a member of New Lighthouse Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Albert Lynn Frady of Lincolnton, and Edward Frady of Windsor; one daughter, Alice Virginia Hollis of Williamston; three brothers, John Paul Jones Jr. of Williamston, Quille Levie “Buddy” Jones of Richmond, Va., and Henry Franklin Byrum of Greenville; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Bonnie Russell.
The family will receive friends today from 6-8 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor.
