Julia Lenora Cahoon, more affectionately known as “Julie”, 35, of 21179 N.C. Highway 94, Fairfield, died Tuesday evening, March 13, 2007, as a result of a traffic accident near her home.
Born on December 6, 1971 in Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt, Germany, she was the daughter of Ted Lewis and Sigrid C. (Chris) Guenthet Cahoon who survive. She received her special education at The Columbia Center in Columbia and also at Mattamuskeet Opportunities in Fairfield. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her and was loved by all.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nazareth Church of Christ in the Kilkenny Community. James S. Jones will officiate. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at the home.
Surviving in addition to her parents are her maternal grandmother, Alice Guenthet of Germany; her brother, Michael T. (Teddy) Cahoon and his wife Anka of Fairfield; her sister, Sylvia C. Salser and her husband, Barry of Fayetteville; her step-sister, Chrystal Salser of Fayetteville; her nephews, Thomas Cahoon of Fairfield and Scott Chapman of Fayetteville; her niece, Patricia Wagner of Fayetteville.
The family will receive friends at Bryan Funeral Service, Swan Quarter on Friday evening, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and other times at the home.
