Mrs. Bernice Moore Brooks, 36, of 507 Adams St., Plymouth, died Saturday, March 10, 2007, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital, Greenville.
A funeral will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth, with the Rev. Harry Lee White Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Chesson Cemetery, Roper.
Mrs. Brooks was born in Washington County on Sept. 26, 1965. She was the daughter of Thomas Chesson of Baltimore, Md., and the late Emma Moore. She was married to Ronald Brooks of Plymouth, who survives.
Survivors include one daughter, Necola Lucas of Plymouth; one son, Eric Fields of Atlanta, Ga.; two grandchildren; five step-children; one sister, Deborah Chesson of Atlanta, Ga. and grandfather, Theodore Chesson of Roper.
Viewing will take place today from 1-2 p.m. at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth.
Arrangements are by Puckett-Purkett Funeral Service, Roper.
