NORFOLK, Va.— Mrs. Bonnie Davidson Williams, 83, of Elmhurst Avenue, Norfolk, Va., died Sunday, March 18, 2007, at Beth Shalom Home in Virginia Beach, Va.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Twiford Colonial Chapel, S. Battlefield Blvd., Chesapeake, Va., with the Rev. Donald O’Dey officiating. A graveside service and burial will follow on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Fulford Cemetery in Engelhard.
Mrs. Williams was born in Fairfield on July 14, 1923, daughter of the late Rupert and Eva Williams Davidson. She was a retired clerk with F. W. Woolworth Company and J. C. Penney Company. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and was married to Chester Stafford Williams Sr. who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Phil Davis Williams of Virginia Beach, Va. and Chester S. Williams Jr. of Norfolk, Va.; two daughters, Stella L. Musick of Norfolk, Va., and Janice F. Williams of Chesapeake, Va.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at Twiford Colonial Chapel and Thursday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Bryan Funeral Service in Swan Quarter and at other times at the home of Janice F. Williams, 327 Gainsborough Square, Chesapeake, Va.
