Mrs. Janice Brooks-Harris, 51, of 105 Little Court, Plymouth, died March 19, 2007, at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2007, at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Plymouth, with the Rev. Harry Lee White Jr. officiating.
Mrs. Brooks-Harris was born in Washington County on Nov. 9, 1955. She was the daughter of Reather S. Brooks, who survives, and the late Wilbur Lee Brooks. She was a member of the New Chapel Baptist Church Choir.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Harris Jr.; three sisters, Cindy Mair of Norfolk, Va., and Jean Brooks and Carla Brooks, both of Plymouth; four brothers, Ricky Brooks of Greenville and Ronald Brooks, Calvin Brooks and Gerald Brooks, all of Plymouth.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. today at New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brooks-Harris was preceded in death by a sister, Cassandra T. Brooks.
