Mrs. Virginia Louise Ecklin Cratch, age 85, of 723 Windmill Rd., Chocowinity died Monday, March 12, 2007, at Britthaven of Havelock.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 24, 2007, at her home on 723 Windmill Rd., Chocowinity.
Mrs. Cratch was born in Beaufort County on March 26, 1921, to the late Johnnie and Vastha Dixon Ecklin and on December 25, 1939, she married Walter S. Cratch, who preceded her in death on March 5, 1985. She was a housewife, farmer and was also a member of the Cherry Point Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Margie Jackson of Havelock; two sons, Robert Cratch of Galax, Va., Walter Cratch of Chocowinity; and one brother, John Ecklin of Savannah, Ga.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cherry Point Church of Christ, Toys for Needy Outreach Program, 279 Shipman Road, Havelock, NC 28532 or to the charity of one’s choice.
