Mrs. Rosa Talley Harding, wife of the late James Harding Jr., formerly of Washington, N.C., departed this life March 22, 2007, at Community Memorial Health Center, South Hill, Va.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2007, at Penuel R.Z.U.A. Church, Palmer Springs, Va. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Harding is survived by three stepchildren, Michael, Rodney and Nicole, all of Brooklyn, N.Y.; five sisters, Dorothy Parrish and Henrietta Crenshaw of South Hill, Va., Annie Bacon of Baskerville, Va., Lucy Williams of Durham and Mildred Hicks of Orangeburg. S.C.; four brothers, the Rev. Robert Talley of Raleigh, Nick Talley of Brooklyn, N.Y., Elder Plummer Talley of Baskerville, Va. and William L. Talley of South Hill, Va.; three brothers-in-law, Alfred Lodge, Matthew and Phillip; four sisters-in-law, Sue Harding, Janie Harding, Isabell Harding and Roxie Pettis; five stepchildren and a host of relatives from Washington, N.C., including Florence Lodge, Richard Lodge, Othelia Small, the Graddy Family, Charles Lodge, Francis Lodge, the Rev. Guy Harding, Pauline Corey, Ressie Peed and Bill Harding.
Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington, is serving the Harding family.
