Mr. Gene Phillip Foreman, Sr., 71, of 852 Biggs Road, Washington, died Sunday, April 1, 2007.
Family and friends will meet at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2007 for dinner and fellowship at the First Free Will Baptist Church, 901 North Bonner Street, Washington.
The family will receive friends for a time of remembrance from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday, April 5, 2007 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington.
Mr. Foreman was born September 26, 1935 in Beaufort County. He was the son of the late Ervin Garfield Foreman and Racheal Alligood Foreman. On July 21, 1956, he married the former Wanda Clark, who survives. Mr. Foreman was a home builder. He was a member of Shiloh Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three children, Kim Foreman Windley and husband, Thomas of Hope Mills, NC, Gene Phillip “Phil” Foreman, Jr. and wife, Linda of Pinetown, NC, and Pamela Foreman Hawkins and husband, Bonner of Washington, NC; four sisters, Judy Hutton and husband, Chuck of Charlotte, NC, Linda Leggett and husband, Jay of Cleveland, TN, Faye Jones and husband, Charles of Wallace, NC, and Naomi Nimo and husband, Bob of Washington, NC; seven grandchildren, Andrea Windley, Kenneth Windley, Heather Foreman Hudson and husband, Daniel, Jodi Foreman, Ashley Foreman, Cory Hawkins and Christopher Hawkins; one great-grandchild, Summer Whitley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Nelda Francis Foreman and one brother, Luke Morris Foreman.
