Mrs. Elsie Whitley House, 88, of 207 Purvis Street, Robersonville, died Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Christian Church of Robersonville with David Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Robersonville Cemetery.
Mrs. House was born Aug. 10, 1918 in Martin County to the late Joseph James Whitley and the late Mae Gregory Whitley. She was a member of First Christian Church of Robersonville.
Mrs. House was married June 2, 1937 to John House who preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1997.
Survivors include two sons, Phil House and Bill House, both of Robersonville; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors today from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Biggs Funeral Home in Robersonville and other times at the residence.
Biggs Funeral Home of Robersonville is serving the House family.
