Mr. James Russell Rollins, 43, of Pine Level, died Friday, April 20, 2007, at Johnston Memorial Hospital.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. Roger Banks and Margaret Britt officiating.
Mr. Rollins was born in Johnston County on Aug. 3, 1963. He was the son of the late James Edmund “Sam” and Bertha Fuller Rollins. He was married to Angie Williams Rollins, who survives. He was a lieutenant with the N.C. Department of Correction, working at the Johnston Correctional Institution. He was a member of Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include one son, Cody Brickhouse of the home; two daughters, Braidy Grace Rollins and Samantha Rollins, both of the home; two brothers, Timothy Mark Rollins of Newnan, Ga., and Michael Todd Rollins of Pine Level; and two sisters, Melody Partin of Pine Level and Rebecca Pearce of Selma.
The family will receive friends today from 7-9 p.m. at Parrish Funeral Home, Selma.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Pine Level Pentecostal Holiness Church Children’s Ministry, P.O. Box 181, Pine Level, NC 27568.
