Mr. Marvin Lee Moss, 58, of 2204 Smithwick Creek Church Road, Williamston, died Monday, April 23, 2007 at his home.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 28, 2007 in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service with Pastor Barry Gardner officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 27, 2007 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington, NC and other times at the home.
Mr. Moss was born March 3, 1949 in Edgecombe County. He was the son of Charlie Gray Moss and Geneva Mae Mitchell Moss. He was a graduate of Rocky Mount Senior High School, Class of 1967. On April 28, 1967, he married Mary Elaine Waruszcak. Mr. Moss had been a resident of Martin County for forty years and was retired from Sprint Telephone Co. He was also an amateur radio operator, a keyboard player and thoroughly enjoyed his family.
Survivors include his wife, Mary “Mickie” Moss of the home; his parents, Charlie Gray and Geneva Mae Mitchell Moss; his children, Marvin Lee Moss, Jr. and his wife, Sandra of Wake Forest, NC, Christopher Daniel Moss and his wife, Sheri of Winterville, NC, Jessica Marie Russell and her husband, Chris of Washington, NC and Evelyn Nicole Moss of the home; and five grandchildren, Matt Moss, Lauren Moss, Emily Moss, Sarah Moss and Christian Russell.
