Mr. Stadford E. Moore, 67, of 132-41 220th St., Springfield Gardens, N.Y., died Sunday, April 22, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ) with Bishop Daniel Boston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Moore was born in Martin County on March 29, 1940. He was the son of the late George and Thurma Boston Moore. He was an Army veteran. He was married to Lottie L. Moore, who survives. He was a member of Uniontown Church of Christ (Disciples of Christ).
Survivors include five brothers, Meredith Moore of Willingboro, N.J., George Moore Jr. of Garner, Godwin Moore of Rome, Ga., Clarence Moore of Columbus, Ga., and Nyrone Moore of Macon, Ga.; and four sisters, Patricia Haynes and Celestine Finney, both of Milwaukee, Wis., Charlotte Roberts of Hudson, Fla., and Darlene McCarthy of Raleigh.
The family will receive friends today from 6:30-8 p.m. at Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
