Mr. James Jerry Bunch, 80, died Saturday, April 28, 2007, at Plumblee Nursing Center, Plymouth.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith with Elder Willie Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Ellis Lee Cemetery.
Mr. Bunch was born in Bertie County on April 22, 1927. He was the son of the late Vandy and Addie Overton Bunch. He was a retired orderly. He was a member of Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith.
Survivors include three sons, James J. Bunch Jr. of New Bern, Jerry Thompson of Columbia, Mo., and Larry Mabine of Brooklyn, N.Y.; two daughters, Patricia Spragely of Chesapeake, Va., and Lisa Bunch of Manteo; one stepdaughter, Gail Blount of Plymouth; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith and other times at the home of his niece, Brenda Drake, 113 Anne St., Plymouth.
Arrangements are by Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth.
