Mr. Robert Earl Pinkham Sr., age 81, of 103 Panticough Dr., Washington died Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at his home.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 11, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and will be conducted by Rev. Ken Cash. Dalton Smith, Charlie O. Alligood, Ike Evans, Alex Kidd, David Hudson and Timmy Pinkham will serve as pallbearers. Steve Pinkham and Johnny Pinkham will serve as honorary pallbearers.
Mr. Pinkham was born in Beaufort Co. on November 28, 1925 to the late John Robert and Gladys McCartney Pinkham and on September 15, 1945 was married to Minnie Mae Woolard who survives. Mr. Pinkham served in the United States Army, was a disabled veteran and was a self-employed house painter.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Mae Woolard Pinkham of the home; one daughter, Dorothy Pinkham Smith and husband Dalton Smith of Washington; two sons, Robert Earl Pinkham Jr. and wife Dianne of Washington, Jimmy R. Pinkham and wife Lynn of Pinetown; one sister, Mrs. Virginia Squires of Washington and one brother, Wallace Massie of Washington. Mr. Pinkham was preceded in death by four brothers.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home, 103 Panticough Dr., Washington.
