Mrs. Maggie Bowen, 80, of 205 East Fifth Street, Plymouth, died Thursday, May 17, 2007 at Washington County Hospital.
A funeral will be held 12 noon Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at New Chapel Missionary Baptist with Rev. Harry L. White officiating. Burial will follow in Toodle’s Cemetery.
Mrs. Bowen was born on January 25, 1927 in Washington County. She was the daughter of the late Nathaniel and Mary Puckett Barnes. She was a member of New Chapel Missionary Baptist Church serving on the Usher board.
Survivors include her husband, Mack Lindsey Bowen, of the home; two daughters, Maxine Bowen of Frederick, Md. and Jane Bowen of Newport News, Va.; two brothers, Clarence Barnes of Plymouth and Luther Barnes of Milford, Pa.; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
