Mr. Joseph Theodore “Ted” Fulcher, 57, of 8062 N.C. Highway 306 South, Aurora, died Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at his home.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Lee Cemetery in the Small community of Aurora with the Rev. David Linton officiating.
Mr. Fulcher was born in Beaufort County on Nov. 7, 1949, son of the late Joseph O. Fulcher Jr. and the late Doris Brothers Fulcher. He graduated from Aurora High School. He served in the Army’s 82nd Airborne Division as a first-class rigger during the Vietnam War. In civilian life, he was a welder with the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, CMF Company and Roberts Company.
Mr. Fulcher was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Charles Fulcher.
