Shirley Temple Deal Flowers, 71, of New Bern, died Saturday May 26, 2007 at Craven Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of the Reelsboro Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Evelyn Deal. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kent Flowers, Sr.; three sons, Kent Flowers, Jr. and his wife Debbie of New Bern, Ernest Flowers and his wife Marie of Seattle, WA, Ki Choi and his wife Soung Hwa of Seattle, WA; six grandchildren, Kent Flowers, III of New Bern, Rachel Flowers of New Bern, Davey Tatro of Seattle, WA, Clare and her husband Jon Phorne of Pittsboro, Gene and Kim Choi of Seattle, WA; one brother, Buddy Deal and his wife Robin of Apex, NC four sisters, Faye Philyaw and her husband Bobby of New Bern, Julia Capshaw and her husband Ron of New Bern, NC, Jolene Lupton and her husband Mack of Aurora, NC, and Brenda Bergman of New Bern; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Pollock-Best Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Pollock-Best Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Willis officiating. Interment will follow at the New Bern Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to, Reelsboro Pentecostal Holiness Church at 221 Neuse Road New Bern, NC 28560.
