William “Bill” D. Howard

Mr. William “Bill” Howard, 74, of 538 West Main St., Belhaven, died Tuesday, May 23, 2007 at his home.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Corner Stone Tabernacle Outreach Ministers with Evangelist Dennis Davis officiating.
Mr. Howard was born on July 23, 1932. He is the son of the late William and Helen Goode Howard. He graduated from Orange High School, in Orange, N.J., St. Phillips College of Texas, RCA Institute in New York City, Sylvania School of Technology in Boston, Mass. He also attended Beaufort County Community College for small engine repair and computer technology. He was married to Evangelyn Howard who survives.
Survivors include three daughters, Crystal Mattamore of Los Angeles, Calif., Cheryl Bagley of Bronx, N.Y., Tara Thompson of Columbus, Ohio; two foster daughters, Jenise Fonville-Noels and Jeannette Spencer, both of Maryland; two sons, A. Douglas Howard of Bronx, N.Y. and William “Will” D. Howard II of Belhaven, N.C.; and 21 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Howard.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today at Leon Randolph Memorial Chapel and other times at the home.
Arrangements are by Leon Randolph Funeral Home at 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
