Mrs. Zelna Butler Adams, 85, a resident of 207 Bethany Church Road, Colerain, died Saturday, June 2, 2007.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Edgewood Cemetery, Windsor, with the Rev. Al Jarrell officiating.
Mrs. Adams was born in Bertie County on Feb. 16, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Butler and Emma White Butler. She was a homemaker. She attended Riverside Baptist Church. She was married to William J. “Jack” Adams, who survives.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie Sherrill of Tarboro and Dale Williams of Winton; a son, Craig Adams of Williamston; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor, and other times at the home.
