Mr. Stuart M. Thomson, 94, of Lake Waccamaw, died Sunday, June 3, 2007, at home.
A memorial service will be conducted today at 11 a.m. in Lake Waccamaw Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Summer Bower officiating.
Mr. Thomson was the son of the late Dr. James R. Thomson and Thyra Lucas Thomson. He was married to Sarah McLean Thomson, who preceded him in death. He owned and operated Thomson TV Co. He was a member of Lake Waccamaw Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Sarah T. High of Lake Waccamaw; one son, Stuart M. Thomson Jr. of Washington; four grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Lake Waccamaw Presbyterian Church.
