Mrs. Eula Dorcas Toler Crisp, 89, of 4959 Old Washington Road, Washington, died Sunday, June 10, 2007, at Britthaven of Washington.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in 15th Street Church of God, Washington, with pastor Thomas Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Oakdale Cemetery.
Lee Crisp, Frankie Crisp, David Crisp, Howie Crisp, Bill Crisp, Eddie Cox and Bradley Cox will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Crisp was born in Craven County on July 6, 1917. She was the daughter of the late David and Fannie Mae Toler. On Nov. 18, 1933, she married Samuel David Crisp, who preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1982. She was previously employed at King Chicken. She was a member of 15th Street Church of God, Washington.
Survivors include two daughters, Rebecca Louise Barker of Garland, and Blanche Cox of Washington; one son, Samuel Howard Crisp of Washington; 16 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sons, Ashley Earl Crisp, Gerald Lawrence Crisp and Harvey Lee Crisp.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Washington, and other times at the home of her daughter, Blanche Cox, 4959 Old Washington Road, Washington.
