Iris Nelson Cooke, 95, of 201 Beth St., Greenville, died June 23, 2007 at Golden Living Center.
She was born Oct. 3, 1911 in Hugo, N.C., and was a librarian at Williamston High School. She was a member of Williamston Church of the Advent.
She is survived by two sons, Rev. James C. Cooke Jr. of Greenville and Dr. Richard Cooke of Goldsboro and four grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Advent in Williamston. Rev. James R. Horton, rector, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the church parish hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of the Advent, P.O. Box 463, Williamston, N.C., or to the Martin Memorial Library, 200 N. Smithwick St., Williamston, N.C.
