Mrs. Shirley Langley Daw, 94, of 280 Neck B Road, Pantego, died Thursday, June 28, 2007, at Pungo District Hospital, Belhaven.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Pantego Christian Church with Doug Stokes officiating. Burial will follow in Belhaven Community Cemetery.
Charlie Daw, Matthew Daw, Jimmy Windley, Wayne Windley, Bennie Carawan and Mike Ahearn will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Daw was born in Beaufort County on March 5, 1913. She was the daughter of the late Leland F. and Eloise Gurkin Langley. She was a graduate of the former Pantego High School. On June 13, 1950, she married William Herbert Daw, who preceded her in death June 6, 1972. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Pantego Christian Church and its Christian Women’s Fellowship.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at Paul Funeral Home, Belhaven, and other times at the home.
