William Ronald Hardee

RALEIGH — William Ronald Hardee, 67, is now with his Lord and Savior. He was born in Pender County son of the late Maggie Gregory Hardee and Maxwell Hardee and was preceded in death by a daughter, Kristine Hardee Kunkel.
Ron was known as a man of prayer, who loved his family and many friends. He was an active member of Bay Leaf Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, and for 17 years coached RA Basketball. He was known for his quick wit and big heart.
Funeral services will be held 11 o’clock Monday morning, July 2, 2007 at Bay Leaf Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Ron Rowe and Rev. Marty Jacumin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ron is survived by his wife, Barbara Satterwhite Hardee; daughter, Elizabeth Hardee Wilder and husband Jack of Washington, N.C.; granddaughter, Mary Grace Wilder; Grandson William Jackson Wilder sisters, Lillie Renn of Clarksville, VA., Dorothy Peterson of Greensboro and Marie Preston of Wilmington.

Friends may visit with the family from 7-9 p.m. Sunday evening July 1, 2007 at Bay Leaf Baptist Church.
