Mr. Ernest Lee Eburn, 76, of E. Ariel Road, Oak Hill, Fla., died Sunday, July 1, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Veteran’s Wall of Honor mausoleum in Sea Pines Memorial Gardens, Edgewater, Fla., with the Rev. Andrew Bigelow, pastor of Shady Grove Church of God in Oak Hill, Fla., officiating. Military honors will be rendered by members of American Legion Post No. 17, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.
Mr. Eburn was born in Washington, D.C., and moved to Oak Hill, Fla., from Miami, Fla., He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars, retiring as a master sergeant after 21 years of service. He was a member and past commander of the VFW, Post No. 6671, Miami, Fla. He was a real estate broker and owner of Kings Bay Real Estate, Daytona Beach, Fla., for 21 years. He was married to Berniece Eburn, who survives.
Survivors include two sons, Terry Eburn of Miami, Fla., and Lee Eburn of Jacksonville, Fla.; three daughters, Elaine Rodriguez and Rhonda Moore, both of Miami, Fla., and Dawn Addonivio of Boynton Beach, Fla.; one brother, Samuel Eburn Jr. of Fairfield; three sisters, Shirley Farrow of Engelhard, Donna Rytter of Newport News, Va., and Nettie Grande of Norfolk, Va.; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 5-8 p.m. at Dudley Edgewater Chapel, Edgewater, Fla.
