Mrs. Ethel Marie Lilley Cherry, 85, of 110 Cherry St., Williamston, died Monday, July 2, 2007, at Williamston Rehab Center.
A funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Thursday in First Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Revs. Roger Leggett and Dallas Gurganus officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Cherry was born in Martin County on Nov. 26, 1921. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Virginia Mae Wiggins Lilley. She was married to Hubert Cherry, who preceded her in death. She was the retired owner of Cherry’s Fish Market. She was a member of First Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include one sister, Winnie Tyson of Williamston; and one grandchild.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8:30 p.m. at First Pentecostal Holiness Church and other times at the home of her sister, 101 Cherry St., Williamston.
