Dr. Allen Chan, 34, of Church Hill, Tenn., died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at his home.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in Colonial Heights Presbyterian Church, Kingsport, Tenn., with pastor Tom Phillips officiating.
Dr. Chan was born in Hong Kong and had been a resident of Church Hill, Tenn., for two years. He was the son of K.W. and Alice Chan of Winterville. He was a family physician with Holston Medical Group in Weber City, Va. He was married to Pamela Chan, who survives.
Survivors include one daughter, Amelia Chan of the home; and one brother, Roland Chan of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service and other times at the home.
