Mr. James W. Proctor Sr., 87, of 1017 Chandler Road, Vanceboro, died Sunday, July 8, 2007.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Coley Funeral Home, Kenly, with the Rev. Lonnie Humphrey officiating. Burial will follow in Kenly Cemetery.
Mr. Proctor was married to Joyce Wilson Proctor, who survives.
Survivors include one son, Selby Proctor of Clayton; stepchildren, Marie and Calvin Anderson of Vanceboro, Brenda and Stick Davidson of Vanceboro, and Debbie Thomas of Chocowinity; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one son, James Proctor Jr.
