Mary Chandler Broadway, 88, of 1096 CC Road, Vanceboro died Monday, July 16, 2007.
A graveside service will be conducted on Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Haw Branch Christian Church Center by the Rev. Clifton Britton.
Mrs. Broadway was a native of Craven County and had been a resident of the Wilmar Community and was a member of the Haw Branch Christian Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Broadway was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel G. Broadway; eight brothers and two grandsons, Rex and Robin Broadway.
She is survived by her: daughter, Louise Anderson and husband, Larry, of Washington; sons, Sammy Broadway and wife, Tootsie, Robert Broadway and wife, Connie, Curtis Broadway and wife, Thalia, all of Vanceboro, and Linwood Broadway and wife, Jo, of Blounts Creek; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Vanceboro.
