Mr. Willie Barrow Sr. of 517 Union St., Belhaven, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, at home.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in St. Reddick Missionary Baptist Church, Belhaven, with the Rev. James Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Northside Cemetery.
Mr. Barrow was born April 28, 1928, the son of the late Zeb and Magolia O’Neal Barrow. He was married to Lydia Mae Barrow, who survives. He was a member of St. Reddick Missionary Baptist Church, Belhaven.
Survivors include two daughters, Blanchie Barrow and Linda Barrow, both of Belhaven; five sons, James Barrow, Willie Barrow Jr., Darriel Barrow, Gerald Barrow and Kenneth Barrow, all of Belhaven; six sisters, Ann Grimsley, Dorothy Barrow, Mary Boyce, Evelyn Barrow, Lola R. Mitchell and Essie Barnes of New York; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Barrow; one son, Ronald E. Barrow; four sisters, Helene Ward, Virginia Weston, Lona Fitchell and Nina F. Borden; and two brothers, Haywood Barrow and Zeb Barrow Jr.
The family will receive friends today from 7-8 p.m. at Leon Randolph Funeral Home, 208 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, Washington.
