Mr. Danny Ferrell Rowe, age 52, a resident of 9959 US Hwy. 17 South, Chocowinity, died on Monday, July 23, 2007 at Beaufort County Hospital.
Funeral services for the Rowe family will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington conducted by Pastor Tad Tankard. The following will serve as pallbearers: Chris Chesson, Jules Woodard, Jeremy Ward, Christopher Swain, Luther Harvey and Nathan Brinn.
Mr. Rowe was born in Beaufort County on November 26, 1954 son of the late James Herbert Rowe and the late Peggy Joyce Ferrell and on December 5, 1998 he married Karen Lynn Wiggins who survives. Mr. Rowe paid tribute to his country by serving in the United States Army as an Aircraft Mechanic. Mr. Rowe retired as an airplane mechanic from NARF at Cherry Point in 1989 and he attended the Harvest Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Rowe is survived by one daughter: Patty Lynn Rowe of Bath; two step- daughters: Nicole Stocks Chesson of Washington and Blair Elizabeth Stocks of the home; three brothers: James Larry Rowe of Richlands, John Michael Rowe of Petersburg, Va., Jamie Van Rowe of Marshall Islands; and one grandchild: Christopher Caleb Chesson. He was preceded in death by one daughter; Shannon Rae Rowe and one brother; Timothy Kelly Rowe.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at Paul Funeral Home of Washington and other times at the home 9959 US Hwy. 17 S. Chocowinity, NC 27817.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Harvest Church Building Fund, 6897 Slatestone Road, Washington, NC 27889.
