Martha Campbell Godley, longtime Washington resident and former Washington Women’s Club President, died of heart failure at Britthaven on July 18, 2007.
Ms. Godley, 85, was a retired high school teacher of math who taught at several area schools and sponsored many Drama Club productions. She is survived by her three children (Carol Campbell, Robert Godley and Paul Godley) and three grandchildren (Amanda-Beth Campbell, Genna Godley and Kira Godley).
Friends, caregivers and former students are invited to a memorial service to honor her memory on Sunday, July 29. Visitation will take place at the Paul Funeral Home (900 John Small Avenue) from 3 p.m.-3:45 p.m. There will be a processional to Oakdale cemetery for funeral services (at the Campbell Family plot, SE corner) from 4 p.m.-5 p.m. The family will also receive guests at the graveside thereafter.
