Mr. James Colon Barber, 67, of 2215 Barber Road, Jamesville, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at home.
A graveside service will be conducted today at 2 p.m. in Jamesville Cemetery with the Rev. James Spencer officiating.
Mr. Barber was born Aug. 24, 1939. He was the son of the late Elbert Wilbur Barber and Idell Jackson. He was married to Margie M. Barber, who survives. He worked at Weyerhaeuser for 31 years.
Survivors include one son, James Mark Barber of Jamesville; two daughters, April Barber Mosher of Dunn, and Lynn Barber Ange of Jamesville; one brother, Earl Barber of Washington; two sisters, Lela Styons of Jamesville, and Brenda Hilton of Chocowinity; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Jamesville Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jamesville Rescue Squad.
Arrangements are by Walker Funeral Home, Williamston.
