Mrs. Lynette Dixon Beeman, 65, of 2895 Gray Road, Chocowinity, died Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at her home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 27, 2007 in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service with the Rev. Jesse Crisp and the Rev. Owen Arthur officiating. Burial will follow in the Dixon Family Cemetery. Kenny Gaskins, Lloyd Tyson, Herman Tyson, Jasper Roberson, Mike Mayo, and Frank McCann will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Hillside Funeral Service, 4500 Highway 264 East, Washington and other times at her home.
Mrs. Beeman was born July 9, 1942 in Beaufort County. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Reba Warren Dixon. She was a graduate of the Class of 1960 from Chocowinity High School. On March 10, 1963, she married Loren Edward Beeman, who survives. She was the retired owner of Hazardous Environmental Supply, Inc. (HES). Mrs. Beeman attended Memorial FWB Church in Chocowinity.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Loren Edward Beeman, II and his wife, Tina, Lisa Beeman Romeo and her husband, Jeff, and Larry Allen Beeman and his wife, Roxanne; and six grandchildren, Austin Beeman, Katie Beeman, Sean Romeo, Luke Romeo, Davis Beeman, and Mary-Morgan Beeman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Dixon Tyson.
